| 3/17/06 Fourth Grader's 1st Red Fish! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Way To Go Courtney! Ten year old catches her first Red fish, a 27 3/4 in. 8.0 lbs. "beauty." After debating weather we were going to fish in the high winds today, I lost 3 to 1. This trip included, my wife Rosemarie, daughter Tiffany and her classmate Courtney. We found shelter in one of the little satellite lakes on Christmas Bay. The action was fast and furious! Missed several fish and released 8 Red fish in 2 hours. Courtney took her fillets catch home for her mom to cook for supper and Tiffany's 24in 4.4lbs. made it to a pot of gumbo for us. Our fish were caught on live shrimp.
