Taylor had a group from out of town in for Christmas and wanted to
show them some Louisiana fishing. We met up at Breton Sound marina
for 7:30. The tide was super low and falling there were a lot of
hazards out there to watch out for, but we managed to get on some
trout around 9:00 after the water temps rose and the trout were active.
Chartreuse tight lined and under corks was doing the job. The guys
were steadily hooking up with trout. The tide quit and we had a lull
for awhile but when it started moving in the bite was back on. We
left them biting and headed in with a nice box of trout releasing
as many as we kept to catch another day. A good time was had by all.
