FISHING REPORT TUES & WED

TUESDAY:

POOR ANDY----Andy Price had some workers in from TX to repair his home in Mandeville. They did such a good job that Andy wanted to take them on an ANGLING ADVENTURE!!! We set the trips up for Mon & Tues but with a front passing through Monday I talked them into Tue & Wed. Tuesday 7am Andy, Robert, Steve & Bob are at the dock ready to go. But Andy can't make the trip. To much work. I take the crew to the Chef Pass area. When we get to our spot I tell the guys "we need to have a good day so Andy will come Wednesday". I coached the guys on how to present the lure and how the bite will feel and in less than 10 minutes we were catching fish. We caught 5 to 10 Specks each drift. We stayed with that pattern and caught a good mess. At mid morning I spotted a small school of REDFISH working a shoreline. We fished that area only catching 1 about 6lbs. The guys liked the fight of the REDFISH and asked if I knew more REDFISH spots. We made a short move and caught REDFISH the rest of the day. POOR ANDY was all we could say. We wish he could have made the trip. Steve, Robert, and Bob all caught their limit and released many more.

WEDNESDAY:

POOR ANDY could not make the trip today either. We went to the same area and caught more. With less wind the guys could feel the bite better and didn't miss as many fish. Results more Speckled Trout and another limit of REDFISH. We also caught a few Black Drum and a Flounder.

Location = Chef Pass area
Winds = Tues Strong SSW. Wed calm 5 to 10
Water = Clear, 55 to 58 deg
Fish = 79 Speckled Trout 12" to 18". 30 REDFISH 16" to 28.5", 4 Black Drum 3 to 8lbs. 1 Flounder at 3lbs.
Bait = Plastics bounced off the bottom tipped with shrimp. Color O.N. P.H. Avocado/red.

We had a great two days of fishing,telling lies, telling jokes, and catching fish. POOR ANDY, I wish you could have made the trips. Robert, Bob, Steve have a safe trip home to TX and I know you will enjoy the REDFISH on the BBQ Grill. I still have some good days open. Call to book your ANGLING ADVENTURE 504.259.FISH or 985.781.7811 I GUARANTEE FISH & FUN!!!! Thanks Capt. Mike Gallo
