| Hello Everybody, This report is pretty much going to be short and to the point. Reds up to 28 inches are in the flats hitting perch, shad and shrimp. Drifting the flats with artificial lures will also produce reds and trout. Speaking of trout, they are here. I have caught trout wading, drifting and anchored. There have been a lot of reports of big trout being taken from the Land Cut to San Antonio Bay. Croaker are here, but as expected, are extremely small. They should be plentiful (hopefully) and of fishable size by the next report. The weather has been outstanding with last Saturday falling victim to a front, but other than then, the days have been hard to beat. Folks, if you are looking for near perfect condtions the next two to four weeks are the times. Until next time: Go Fishin!! |
