The
fishing on the south end of South Padre Island has been as good as
it gets. Lots of redfish on top waters and artificial lures, last
week almost every trip showed us limits of reds and some trout. Most
of the trout have been of nice 20 to 22" size, so for the few
we are catching they are decent fish. With the warm winter we had
this year I expect the patterns to change from the norm. But with
the fishing as it is now I really hope it doesn't. Good fishing,
